Veneers

Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy, while at the same time improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth.

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that will bond to your tooth to give it a whole new appearance.  They will improve the appearance of the teeth that you have chipped, is misaligned or discoloured. A veneer can change the size and the shape of teeth and their colour.

You may have teeth that are badly stained and cannot be whitened; the perfect solution could be to have dental veneers.

Additionally, Veneers can also be used to close small gaps, when orthodontics (braces) are not suitable or if a tooth is slightly out of position, a veneer can be fitted to bring it into line with the others.

Treatment pathway

The tooth is prepared by removing a thin layer of the outer surface of the tooth (The Enamel)

An impression is taken (mould) of the prepared tooth and adjacent teeth.

The impression, together with instructions on tooth colour is sent to the dental laboratory where the veneer is hand-crafted by a Dental Technician.

The veneer is then bonded into place by your Dentist.
