Resuming Dental Services
During the COVID -19 pandemic, treatments you are offered may be slightly different to those you received before, depending on staff and equipment availability.
At the practice we are committed to your safety and that of our staff.
All staff will be vaccinated against COVID-19.As well as carry out COVID -19 home testing, prior to coming into work 2 x a week (Virtual Flow Testing Kits )
Infection control is our top priority. The practice follows infection control guidelines made by the governing bodies of the UK. We are up to date with new guidance that has been recently issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current, and we adhere strictly to these recommendations.
Changes that have been put in place
- The Practice will communicate with you beforehand to ask some health screening questions. You’ll be asked these same questions again at your appointment.
- We have handwashing facilities and sanitizer that we will ask you to use on entering the building
- We no longer offer magazines, books, childrens toys. They are not easy to disinfect.
- The waiting area chairs will be spaced accordingly. These chairs are made of plastics and metal, and are easily disinfected.
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointments .Our appointments system will allow greater time between patients, which will reduce the number of persons in the building at any one time.
